VR-Enhanced Cognitive Learning: Method, Framework, and Application

Both constructivist learning and situation-cognitive believe that outcomes are significantly affected by the context or environments. However, since 2019, world has been ravaged COVID-19. Under threat of virus, many offline activities, such as some practical engineering courses, have subjected to certain restrictions. Virtual Reality (VR) is an emerging, promising, rapidly developing technology enables users obtain a near-real immersion experience combining technologies computer science, communication, vision, etc. In COVID-19, advantages VR immersive experiences highlighted. By constructing virtual environment, can greatly compensate for shortage traditional teaching conditions help learners carry out cognitive better. currently, VR-enhanced still in its infancy, along with numerous problems limitations. Therefore, this paper first conducted in-depth study related concepts, situated cognition learning. Then it proposes general framework designs steps situations technology. Based on proposed model framework, developed campus knowledge-learning APP using tools. Through case study, verified validity performance strategies. Questionnaire survey experimental results show new achieves good effect improves efficiency at least 20% compared methods.
